Group Financial Controller

Our Client a renowned Company in Hong Kong with business in HK, China, and Oversea. They are looking for a Financial Controller for the Group Business

Major Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all finance related matters including accounting management, financial reporting, project management, audit, tax, forecast, budget, treasury etc
• Handle full set of accounts, group consolidation and tax compliance of HK and overseas Prepare statutory accounts in compliance with the disclosure requirements, accounting standards and local tax laws; support the year-end audit
• Review processes, systems and operation to identify key business, financial and operational risks and conduct continuous process improvements
• Ensure timely preparation of annual budget, monthly projection, quarterly budget report; provide financial insights and analysis on key variances and identify actions required
• Formulate and implement internal control policies and procedures, update financial guidelines, and issue instructions on financial and accounting matters
• Deal with internal and external auditors and additional ad hoc assignments
• Treasury management functions including asset and liability management, and cash flow
• Monitoring of investment performance and review of investment guidelines and compliance, maintenance of banking relations
• Perform any ad hoc projects as assigned
• Requirements:
• Degree holder or above in accounting, finance or related discipline
• At least 12 years’ managerial experience, preferably in sizeable Company with Group consolidation .Big 4 audit experience is an advantage
• Qualified accountant with qualifications from recognised accounting bodies e.g. HKICPA, or equivalent
• A self-motivator and team player to handle multiple projects within tight schedules and meet deadlines
• Well-organised with strong analytical and interpersonal skills
• Good command of written and spoken English and Chinese
• Proficient in computer skills and sound knowledge of ERP system; exposure in financial management system implementation an advantage
